Introduction
A logical question one might ask in relation to the Linda Cortile UFO abduction case is "Has there been any other kind of UFO activity sighted in the area near where Linda lives?" The answer to this question is a resounding yes. Not only has there been UFO activity near where she lives, there have been independently sighted UFOs performing specific maneuvers that correlate to some of the events reported in Linda's case.
In Case #1, presented below, we have multiple independent witnesses observing a UFO flying up out of the East River. One of the witnesses managed to get a clear photograph of the object. Case #1 correlates to the Linda Cortile UFO abduction case because in the Linda case multiple witnesses (Richard, Dan, the third man, and the Fulton Fish market workers) witnessed a UFO flying into the East River.
In Case #2, presented below, we have a Brooklyn resident who witnessed a UFO glide over the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, descend onto the surface of the water, at which point it submerged under the water. Case #2 correlates to the Linda Cortile UFO abduction case because the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge is less than 10 miles away from the Brooklyn Bridge where Janet Kimball witnessed a UFO of a similar description fly over the Brooklyn Bridge, disappearing from her sight. It also correlates to Linda's case because the UFO reported in Case #2 flew into the river, just like the UFO in Linda's case.
In Case #3, presented below, we have an individual witness, and photograph, a UFO while they were driving along the elevated FDR Drive. Case #3 correlates to the Linda Cortile UFO abduction case because a witness in the Linda case witnessed a UFO while driving along the elevated FDR Drive.
The point of presenting these cases, all of which are completely independent of the Linda Cortile UFO abduction case, is to demonstrate that UFO activity is being independently witnessed and recorded in the approximate vicinity of Linda's residence. Not only that but some of the UFOs sighted are being reported to have performed maneuvers identical to what was independently described in Linda's case.

Case #3
(Text only)
June 21, 2001 4:45 p.m.
I was on my way to pick up Francine to attend a lecture at FIONS to hear Andrew Cohen.
While driving south on the FDR Drive (Franklin Delano Roosevelt Drive) at 96th Street in New York City, I glanced to my right looking toward the city and noticed a dull orange disc shaped object- with no dome -not glowing or reflective, moving slowly over an apartment building. It moved in a straight and steady path approximately 20 to 30 miles per hour. I thought at first could it be a Frisbee, but it was too big-at least 5 or 6 feet in length. The sky was slightly overcast and it was not windy.
Because I was driving it was very hard to study the object. Although I had to keep looking back at the road due to stop and go traffic, I did manage to take two photos. At that point the object stopped, momentarily hovered, then violently wobbled, and descended straight down behind a tree. I zoomed in and took a third photo just as it went behind the tree. I just missed it, too bad because that third shot would have shown more detail. I was straining my neck because by now I had passed that area, but out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw it drop beneath the lower branches of the tree. I felt very excited; I could feel my heart beating in my chest. I remember wishing that someone was with me at the time to witness this. I had never seen anything like it before.
I was using a Riva Zoom 140EX/Freedom Zoom 35 MM Minolta.
